The R44 Clipper II is the latest derivative of the very successful, popular and proven Robinson R44 helicopter line. A major enhancement is the reduced noise level of the Raven II. This quieter helicopter features redesigned main and tail rotor blades fitted with noise attenuating blade tip caps that substantially decrease flyover noise. The main rotor blades also have more surface area for increased lifting capability at altitude. The Clipper ll is also fitted with emergency pop out floats to allow water landings.
